Overkill in the Assault vs. Trillanes group?

Some say that the military assault against the group of Senator Antonio Trillanes at the Peninsula Manila is an overkill. Rounds from a Caliber 50 machine gun were fired at the main entrance of the hotel and an armored personnel carrier ran through the front door. After watching the video, would you say that it’s overkill? Read more »

It is Christmas

There’s no doubt about it — it’s Christmas. Of course, the longest Christmas season in the world does not officially start until the first simbang gabi. The signs, however, definitely show it’s beginning to smell, look and feel a lot like Christmas.
