Preparing to Die

I recall watching the last episode of CSI Las Vegas Season 6, with the statement of Grissom to the effect that he prefers having a cancer because he could prepare for his death and he could say goodbye to his loved ones. In contrast, of course, is the view that death should be more like a thief who sneaks in the middle of the night, in which case, you do away with the agony of watching your days run out. Read more »

While many would say that it’s better to separate different themes, this blog didn’t go that way for various reasons. Are men slowly becoming extinct in law school?

During my time in law school, I noticed that there were more women than men in our classs. The ratio was 3:1, if I’m not mistaken. I believe the trend is increasing, with more and more women getting into — and surviving — law school. There could be a number of reasons.
