  2. No need to cite the exact provision. If you are familiar with the applicable law, just answer direct to the point then blend it with the given facts.

    For an instance, TAX

Yes. Lando can claim exemption from taxation under the provision of the Constitution, but only with respect to real property taxes provided that such real properties are used actually, directly and exclusively for charitable purposes.

      1. Never cite exact article no. (and G.R No’s for cases). A professor told me that doing so may be seen as challenging the examiner’s familiarity with the subject/topic and may also be regarded as plain arrogance.

I didn’t do the same when I took the 2012 bar exams.

        God bless sa 2nd sunday.

      2. Cite if you can, ang mahalaga yung provision hindi lang yung number.. sa lahat na tanong about rights, pwede mo naman ilagay article III … ang pag cite ng article number (lalo na yung familiar Art. 19) ay tanda na may alam ka, nasa sentence construction mo kung mukhang mayabang ka o sadyang may alam ka sa batas…. answers can be intimidating even without citing provisions… kung babasehan lang natin yung magiging feelings ng examiner, ewan ko na lang…. you take the bar exam so you could let them know that you know the law and not to care for their ego.

      1. Ang alam kong bawal is magpapalit ka ng ink color sa same subject/booklet. That i think can be considered as marking.

  4. Whoever dragged the name of

    PROFUGO, Lyra Carissa M.,

I wish I could tell you that you were right in cursing her for making such comments. Unfortunately, she didn’t post any crap here. I suggest that you first verify whoever the hell you are mad with before accusing someone.

An innocent barrister whose name was inadvertently got cussed out by a reckless man deserves peace if not apology.

As for the person who’s confident enough to share her thoughts on how well she did on first Sunday, I hope your luck won’t wheel around.

Passing the bar is not all about what you know and how you performed during the exams, you need prayers and luck too. I hope you all make it but before you do, don’t waste your precious time. Adding stress won’t do any help and mind you, you still have a long way ahead.

Two more Sundays to go. Godspeed barristers!

  5. Hambog ng neighbor namin…. Madali daw ang bar exams sabi ng son nya who’s a 4th year law student from San Beda. What i told him wow good for your son but unfortunately next ear pa sya magtatake eh.

Sinabi ko na nga nahirapan ako sabay yun pa sinabi. Mga tao nga naman may masabi lang talaga.
