The diverse opinions on the 2007 bar examination expressed in this site probably reflects the level of “controversy” surrounding it. I agree that more reforms are needed, although it’s unfair to say that the Supreme Court is not doing anything about it. I agree that the Supreme Court is not perfect, but any effort to destroy its credibility, especially when based on mere allegations, should never be allowed as it brings more harm. I agree that some are luckier than others, but it’s unfair to attribute everything to luck because we all know the extreme difficulty in preparing for the bar exams. I agree that there’s nothing else we could do because the result was already released, but it’s unfair to tell those who want to express their respective opinions to shut up.
To those who made it, congratulations. May you be magnanimous in victory. All bar examinees are on the same boat, so to speak, and the victory of some is never anchored on the fact that others didn’t make it. Go ahead and celebrate, but always err on the side of restraint.
To the majority who will have to wait, let’s move on, and may the future be favorable to you. Life goes on. In closing, allow me to paraphrase the words of Supreme Court Chief Justice Reynato Puno, for those who refuse to let their dreams die:

yes let’s make a closure to the 2007 bar exams..for those who made it kudos for a job well done..those who did’nt make it, it’s time for you guys to move on and accept life’s reality..stop giving negative comments because magboboomerang sa inyo yan at baka next year eh iiyak na naman kayo..what you can do is be happy for those who made it, and take that as a challenge, kc kung magpapaka-nega kayo, masyado kayo maiistress,kaya if i were you,magpakabuti kayo at mag-aral ng mabuti para may magandang mangyari sa buhay nyo…huwag na kayong manisi ng kung sinu-sino, kasi hindi naman makakatulong yan sa inyo..study harder this time and pray a lot..goodluck..
kung magkicriticize kayo, do it in a constructive way..if you’re saying na unfair sa inyo at hindi kayo nakapasa, unfair din naman sa mga nakapasa para sabihin nyo yan..i’m sorry to say that i don’t believe in luck..being a lawyer is a destiny..so if you’re destined to become one, you will be, in God’s time..the examiners are but human beings as well as the SC justices, but i do believe that there is a Sovereign God who is in control of all things..

I join Atty. Fred and jna in their opinion on the matter. Let’s not take anything away from those who passed the 07 bar. If you want some heads to roll, then take a swing at those you think are responsible therefor. Don’t make a party defendant out of those who passed since you were on the same side prior to March 30. Don’t detest them if they don’t want to join you in your clamor for a nullification of the results. You can’t force them to be a party thereto and you can’t treat them as an unwilling co-plaintiff. Parang labas kasi nun eh na-apply sa kanina yung Sec. 10 ng Rule 3 hehe. For those who failed, grieve for a while then fight it out ulit in September. But I’m one with you guys in pushing for reforms. But for now, review muna. After September na lang ulit i-raise and pursue yung reforms.

In 2006 I got a grade of 74.9250, I know the reason why I failed. This 2007 bar exam I again failed but this time I do’nt know what went wrong.

to fingershadow, thanks at nainspire ka..ako i passed d bar thru God’s grace and mercy lang..after d bar exam, i told myself, if i don’t make it, d na q mgtake 2 kc i did my very best during the review,tpos i prayed hard, so pag di aq pumasa, that means ayaw ni God maging lawyer aq..but God has a plan 4me, kaya pumasa aq, grabe nkkaiyak when i learned that i passed..truly God is faithful..Jesus never fails..kya I want to give back all the glory and praises to HIM…to those who will take this year’s bar, surrender yourself to God, give him your wholehearted trust…i want to share to you my life verse and it’s in the bible: “if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God who giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not..and it shall be given him..but let him ask in faith…
