Time flies so fast. It seems there was never enough time to study and prepare for 4 grueling Sundays. Same thing even if there was an extension of one week, due to Ondoy. There was certainly no enough time to finish answering all the questions, especially with the unbearable number of questions in the 2009 bar, some say. I can’t judge because I haven’t seen the questions. Perhaps in the days to come, when these questions are dissected at phBar.
Time flies so fast, until last Sunday, 4 October 2009, the last day of the bar exams. After two full days of rest, our battle-weary examinees will begin to realize that, henceforth, time will slow down to an agonizing crawl.
Every day will be a test of patience. Every rumor will be magnified. The suspense will boil to point where you cease to care if you pass or fail — let’s just get this over with (ok, I may be wrong, of course you’d care if you pass or fail).
So, as the waiting game begins, let me to congratulate everyone for surviving the four Sundays of mind-numbing exams. Good luck and God bless, as you wait for the release of the results. You’ll be in our prayers.
Update: It’s Friday, 26 March 2010.
Update: Let’s congratulate everyone who’ve made the interaction in this post interesting (for the rest, please identify yourself so we could add you to the list):

hi,
i have been anticipating this thread. already started suspecting atty fred is an examiner.
holmes
Haha, Holmes, I’m not an examiner, although it would be an honor if that time comes. Did you take this year’s bar exams?
Hello Everyone!
The waiting game begins…
A barista told me that some of the booklets in Labor got wet due to Ondoy…
Can anyone confirm this?
a reliable source. December 2009 will be the target date of release… brace yourself everyone.
End of Feb is the target date not december…
So, which is which?
December ’09 or End of Feb?
If the source is indeed reliable and correct, magiging maganda ang pasko ng mga barista na papasa…
In my opinion, baka di kayanin ang submission of grades by December. But due to what happened last Sept 27, I am now open for everything. Ika nga, there is always a first time.
Tingin ko, gaya ng dati yan pero mas earlier ng konti.
atty fred,
no sir, already passed po.
in the 2008 bar thread, i tried, albeit impliedly, to ask if we can start the 2009 thread for the examinees (now, ex-examinees and future lawyers), for tips/reviewers.
then i realized it’s better nga siguro that the 2009 bar thread be created post facto.
this thread is very helpful, especially for those anticipating.

ondoy and pepeng,
to early to tell, but ill keep you posted

Thanks, holmes. Sorry I didn’t notice your other post. Thanks for dropping by and helping to make the wait of the incoming lawyers more “interesting”. Maybe I’ll see you in court one of these days.
I was watching Wowowee earlier and guess what?
The contestants for tomorrow’s Willie of Fortune: Parent’s ng mga nag-bar last Oct 4.
Bring Birth Certificate and SC receipt.
totoo ba yong sabi2x na maraming ngbacked out sa exams? what’s the figure?
power_boxx,
konti lang di na nagtuloy, fifty plus lang yata. at ito ang heroic: after ondoy, considering that rem ang next exam, at may chance na tinamaan ang mga examinees (or their families), isa lang ang hindi nakarating nung oct 4.

It’s really heartwarming to know that only one out of the 5,904 Bar examinees failed to show up during the last Sunday of the Bar exam last Oct. 4, according to the SC. This only goes to show that this year’s batch are a bunch of courageous and determined lot in the face of the many adversities (aside from the Bar Exam itself) such as the almost unprecedented amount of rainfall and resultant flooding in many areas of the metropolis, not to mention, the concomitant hassles that the examinees living in the flood-stricken area have to go through in order to make their way to the La Salle venue. To all the Bar examinees, again we wish you good luck and may your perseverance pay off and may the Divine Providence give you all the desires of your heart come March or April of next year. Godspeed!
your post is really touching to us who survived the 2009 bar exams, though the waiting part is quite agonizing other than the hard times when the typhoon hit the last day and was postponed due to ondoy’s wrath, it’s comforting to know that there are some who feel for us after all the hardships during those times..i really hope and pray na sana magkakatotoo yung sabi-sabi na marami raw ngayon papasa..thanks & Gbu.
Let’s just hope & pray that most of them pass.
I’m hoping that the passing rate be more than 30%.
The country is in dire need of decent lawyers. pls God, make the kind-hearted ones pass.
we are back…thats good… and thanks atty fred!!!
result will be last week of february 2010 as per meeting with the deans during the first sunday of the 2009 bar exam….
