Bar Examinees of 2009: Congratulations and God Bless
This is my site Posted on October 6, 2009 in Bar Exams

Time flies so fast. It seems there was never enough time to study and prepare for 4 grueling Sundays. Same thing even if there was an extension of one week, due to Ondoy. There was certainly no enough time to finish answering all the questions, especially with the unbearable number of questions in the 2009 bar, some say. I can’t judge because I haven’t seen the questions. Perhaps in the days to come, when these questions are dissected at phBar.

Time flies so fast, until last Sunday, 4 October 2009, the last day of the bar exams. After two full days of rest, our battle-weary examinees will begin to realize that, henceforth, time will slow down to an agonizing crawl.

Every day will be a test of patience. Every rumor will be magnified. The suspense will boil to point where you cease to care if you pass or fail — let’s just get this over with (ok, I may be wrong, of course you’d care if you pass or fail).

So, as the waiting game begins, let me to congratulate everyone for surviving the four Sundays of mind-numbing exams. Good luck and God bless, as you wait for the release of the results. You’ll be in our prayers.

Update: It’s Friday, 26 March 2010.

Update: Let’s congratulate everyone who’ve made the interaction in this post interesting (for the rest, please identify yourself so we could add you to the list):

Bauzon, Edward R. (think positive a.k.a. ondoy at manila times)
Dalawampu, Louie Mark M. (bubwit)
Dayo, Jesus Frederick D. (hunter killer)
Espejo, Bernadette B. (badetski)
Garce-Mejia, Racquel F. (on bended knees)
Magcamit, Eric Jay A. (ELA)
Pepito, Charisse Faith T. (miss preggy)
Tagaloguin, Fritz Z. (daques)
Toledo, Maria Joy O. (getintheaction)

Again, congratulations. I hope to see you all in court.

    DUDE!
Lets pray its not true. Even if i will be one of those belonging to the 15% who will pass hindi masaya because many will feel frustrated. Napakahirap ng 2009 Bar Exams to be honest to you guys. We, the barristers, thru this site, are appealing to the members and Chairman of the 2009 Bar Committee to relax on the passing rate. Please be considerate.

i think we should submit to the wisdom of the magisterium, at the end of the day, they are the personification of justice and fairplay the same includes in the resolution of the recent 2009 bar exams…whatever the number is..we should not make haste…ok?

Buzzer, have u read this recent comments, talagang tutoo yong txt msg na 15% lang and my gud friend will not text me f not reliable. Laging nag no.1 skul where he studied sa bar. Anyway, lets just pray to the God Almighty dat the Honorable Chairman will consider the fact dat the alloted time in the exam is not really enough to answer those too many question lalo na ang mga subjects in the afternoon. Hndi nga makapag cr kc naghihinayang tayo sa oras dat will be wasted instead of continuing answering. Sana maconsider nila yon.

Walang kokontra para lahat tayo pumasa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lets pray together na sana magkatotoo ito.

From a reliable source, 17% lang ang pumasa. subject for deliberation pa. for the past 2 years, tinataas ng mga justices ang passing rate. Sana this year taasan pa.

Madami bumagsak sa Political Law. A fellow pañero talked to Justice Nachurra, 5 percent daw ang DQ sa tax.

Its very sad that almost consistent ang mga informations that less than 20% passed the 2009 Bar exams.

Its really hard to prepare for the bar exams after years of studying law. However, it only takes a couple of second to commit suicide after learning that your name is not included in the list of successful examinees.

we pray..nothing is impossible with prayers.. The silence maybe is the calmness before the storm, if they say that the booklets are all in the next step is encoding then deliberations which will not take more than 2 days, then encoding which will not take more than a day, then release..I’m expecting to see Atty. Midas Marquez on the t.v saying that the bar exams will be released.. I always get nervous everytime there is an announcement from the Supreme Court or every time Atty. Midas Marquez would appear on the television..but we pray.. God is always listening to our prayers, have faith my Girlfriend who is a lawyer says that the bar exams waiting period is a test of faith.. and guys read or watch the book and or documentary the secret. he…he.. See you at the oath taking Pañeros and Pañeros..have faith

As I read the posts here, it seems that the intensity and pressure is so high.. just relax and keep cool future pañeros and pañeras.. all we need to do now, is to ask for God’s comforting blessings, to help us get thru this feelings.. we must always be optimistic, and above all, we must believe and claim God’s will and grace, for His will, will always be done.. jfy

Dear Examinees, every time I see your comments I smile and begin to think you all sound funny, fighting over things like the actual date the results will be released or the date of the oath taking. Outsiders may also have the same impression. Then I realize that I was once like you and I’ve been through what you’re going through. This is not an easy time. All the best for everyone.
