Bar Examinees of 2009: Congratulations and God Bless
This is my site Posted on October 6, 2009 in Bar Exams

Time flies so fast. It seems there was never enough time to study and prepare for 4 grueling Sundays. Same thing even if there was an extension of one week, due to Ondoy. There was certainly no enough time to finish answering all the questions, especially with the unbearable number of questions in the 2009 bar, some say. I can’t judge because I haven’t seen the questions. Perhaps in the days to come, when these questions are dissected at phBar.

Time flies so fast, until last Sunday, 4 October 2009, the last day of the bar exams. After two full days of rest, our battle-weary examinees will begin to realize that, henceforth, time will slow down to an agonizing crawl.

Every day will be a test of patience. Every rumor will be magnified. The suspense will boil to point where you cease to care if you pass or fail — let’s just get this over with (ok, I may be wrong, of course you’d care if you pass or fail).

So, as the waiting game begins, let me to congratulate everyone for surviving the four Sundays of mind-numbing exams. Good luck and God bless, as you wait for the release of the results. You’ll be in our prayers.

Update: It’s Friday, 26 March 2010.

Update: Let’s congratulate everyone who’ve made the interaction in this post interesting (for the rest, please identify yourself so we could add you to the list):

Bauzon, Edward R. (think positive a.k.a. ondoy at manila times)
Dalawampu, Louie Mark M. (bubwit)
Dayo, Jesus Frederick D. (hunter killer)
Espejo, Bernadette B. (badetski)
Garce-Mejia, Racquel F. (on bended knees)
Magcamit, Eric Jay A. (ELA)
Pepito, Charisse Faith T. (miss preggy)
Tagaloguin, Fritz Z. (daques)
Toledo, Maria Joy O. (getintheaction)

Again, congratulations. I hope to see you all in court.

30% (if true) is good enough, pero sana dagdagan, mga 34% up, para record breaking at mas marami tayo mag-oath taking… exceptional kasi tayo mga 2009 bar examinees..yeah!!

guys, a source said that results will be release on february 15, 2010. ganyan din naexperience ko when i was waiting for the 2007 bar exam. the original percentage who passed that bar is 5%(included ako dun). my point is that kahit ano pa ang percentage na lumabas, what matter is that nandun ang name mo. kahit magdasal tayo ng mataas na percentage kung wala naman name natin dun sa list, mahirap din tanggapin. i also have friends who are waiting for the 2009 bar exam and i pray that their names will be included to those who will pass.

Got this piece of information from a VERY reliable source–it appears that the 2009 bar exams has a very low passing rate attributable mainly to the effects of the experimental two-examiner rule implemented for the first time last year. According to this former bar topnotcher, since the total points allotted per examiner is only 50, the allowance for mistakes is also very minimal. To achieve the 75 passing grade, an examinee should not incur deductions from each examiner amounting to more than 12.5 points. How scary is that?….

@ warfreak: if you have nothing to do dont do it here. you are just creating confusion to young barristers. Its impossible to release the results tomorrow, Friday. And your 13% source was not SC or Supreme Court but NMH or the National Mental Hospital hehehehehe.

Atty. Warfreak just an observation, diba usually meron press release/statement muna ang SC a day before the actual release of the results.
