Bar Examinees of 2009: Congratulations and God Bless
Time flies so fast. It seems there was never enough time to study and prepare for 4 grueling Sundays. Same thing even if there was an extension of one week, due to Ondoy. There was certainly no enough time to finish answering all the questions, especially with the unbearable number of questions in the 2009 bar, some say. I can’t judge because I haven’t seen the questions. Perhaps in the days to come, when these questions are dissected at phBar.
Time flies so fast, until last Sunday, 4 October 2009, the last day of the bar exams. After two full days of rest, our battle-weary examinees will begin to realize that, henceforth, time will slow down to an agonizing crawl.
Every day will be a test of patience. Every rumor will be magnified. The suspense will boil to point where you cease to care if you pass or fail — let’s just get this over with (ok, I may be wrong, of course you’d care if you pass or fail).
So, as the waiting game begins, let me to congratulate everyone for surviving the four Sundays of mind-numbing exams. Good luck and God bless, as you wait for the release of the results. You’ll be in our prayers.

Being a lawyer is not a question of being deserving… nor is it a question of wanting it so bad. Life has a way of doing things, so suck it up and move forward. wag masyadong bitter sa mga nakapasa dahil lang sa tingin mo eh they don’t deserve it.

what is the gauging factor para maconsider na deserving ang isang tao sa pagiging lawyer?

@ santi, tama ka na mahirap i-gauge kung sinoo ang deserving at hindi kc relative yan. maaaring magaling sa acads and 1 tao pero it does not necessarily mean na magaling na xa sa practice and vice-versa. d din naman pwedeng gawing panuntunan ang sipag dahil relative na naman yan. kaya mahirap masabi na ang isang tao ay deserving o hindi maging abugado at walang makakapagsabi na hindi deserving ang isang tao. sana hangarin nlng natin na pagpalain ang bawat isa at itigil na ang pataasan ng ihi (pardon me for the term). kung sa tingin mo magaling ka d paghusayan mo pa para makatulong ka sa justice system natin d2 sa pilipinas. kung sa tingin mo d kagalingan ang iba d maging huwaran ka sana upang mapaunlad ang ibang tao.
