Bar Examinees of 2009: Congratulations and God Bless
This is my site Posted on October 6, 2009 in Bar Exams

Time flies so fast. It seems there was never enough time to study and prepare for 4 grueling Sundays. Same thing even if there was an extension of one week, due to Ondoy. There was certainly no enough time to finish answering all the questions, especially with the unbearable number of questions in the 2009 bar, some say. I can’t judge because I haven’t seen the questions. Perhaps in the days to come, when these questions are dissected at phBar.

Time flies so fast, until last Sunday, 4 October 2009, the last day of the bar exams. After two full days of rest, our battle-weary examinees will begin to realize that, henceforth, time will slow down to an agonizing crawl.

Every day will be a test of patience. Every rumor will be magnified. The suspense will boil to point where you cease to care if you pass or fail — let’s just get this over with (ok, I may be wrong, of course you’d care if you pass or fail).

So, as the waiting game begins, let me to congratulate everyone for surviving the four Sundays of mind-numbing exams. Good luck and God bless, as you wait for the release of the results. You’ll be in our prayers.

Update: It’s Friday, 26 March 2010.

Update: Let’s congratulate everyone who’ve made the interaction in this post interesting (for the rest, please identify yourself so we could add you to the list):

Bauzon, Edward R. (think positive a.k.a. ondoy at manila times)
Dalawampu, Louie Mark M. (bubwit)
Dayo, Jesus Frederick D. (hunter killer)
Espejo, Bernadette B. (badetski)
Garce-Mejia, Racquel F. (on bended knees)
Magcamit, Eric Jay A. (ELA)
Pepito, Charisse Faith T. (miss preggy)
Tagaloguin, Fritz Z. (daques)
Toledo, Maria Joy O. (getintheaction)

Again, congratulations. I hope to see you all in court.

I still believe that what justice nachura said prior to the bar exam re high passing rate will eventually come true.. I’m sure he has his word of honor..
If the actual results were low, the good justices will certainly adjust it, as history reveals..
    I mean these things aren’t impossible…
Have faith my future pañeros and pañeras… Stay positive and Pray harder.. !!!

@rouina: If you’re source is true, then they should revert back to a single examiner per subject.

Once you received your Report of Ratings, you’ll be surprised on how your exam booklet was graded.

The common concensus among friends, para syang di-na-tsek more especially if you are fortunate enough to get your booklets from the SC.

My point is, for now, all we can do is speculate.

It is always nice to be informed but please spare everyone from disastrous rumors. More than 6,000 are on the edge of their seat so to speak.

I appeal to everyone that we should exercise the positive virtue of 100% encouragement.

Lastly, let us pray that we have the courage to accept whatever befalls us, whether good or bad.

To all my future compañeros y compañeras, happy weekend. We all deserve a much needed rest this weekend, because starting Monday, we will again be bombarded with a lot of speculations as to the date of the release of result and the percentage of those who made it/those who did not make it. Good luck and God Bless!
