Time flies so fast. It seems there was never enough time to study and prepare for 4 grueling Sundays. Same thing even if there was an extension of one week, due to Ondoy. There was certainly no enough time to finish answering all the questions, especially with the unbearable number of questions in the 2009 bar, some say. I can’t judge because I haven’t seen the questions. Perhaps in the days to come, when these questions are dissected at phBar.
Time flies so fast, until last Sunday, 4 October 2009, the last day of the bar exams. After two full days of rest, our battle-weary examinees will begin to realize that, henceforth, time will slow down to an agonizing crawl.
Every day will be a test of patience. Every rumor will be magnified. The suspense will boil to point where you cease to care if you pass or fail — let’s just get this over with (ok, I may be wrong, of course you’d care if you pass or fail).
So, as the waiting game begins, let me to congratulate everyone for surviving the four Sundays of mind-numbing exams. Good luck and God bless, as you wait for the release of the results. You’ll be in our prayers.
Update: It’s Friday, 26 March 2010.

Tinkering with internet tools comes with the bonus of better understanding how existing laws apply to the third wave - that of technology, particularly the internet. This is also a great medium to disseminate and discuss ideas across borders, time, color or creed.
D close door session/meeting has just started. D justices had already started their deliberations. I am so nervous. I just hope na papasa but still I expect d worst. If you’re really destined to be a lawyer, then so be it. Right now, pray, pray harder lang kayo mga panyeros, we will soon b opposing counsels, See you in court. To God be d glory.
marami rumors n lumalabas, relax lng part yan mga rumors n yan nga bar exam, ganyan tlga basta pray hard , ill pray din para sa inyo, be confident and dont doubt sa Faith nyo kay GOD
In management we call it MOT or moment of truth. Sooner or later you will have to meet your client or boss regarding the thing/s you had been asked to do – and be evaluated as to whether your work is good or not. The same is true with bar exams, there is this MOT, i.e., the results will have to be out.
My thoughts:
1) per recent experience, only about 17-32% will make it, 2) realistically, many members of this blog will not make it, 3) no matter how much one prays, if he/she did not impress the 16 examiners (for an ave of 75% or any grade that the SC may decide), he/she will not make it. Prayers are only for those who really prepared and are deserving (my humble opinion), 4) there are those who even if they are good enough to be topnotchers, yet will not find themselves in the list. this is no longer a phenomenon. it is a reality every barrister must face, 5) this is the beauty (or is it tragedy?) of the bar, while we may know more or less who will not make it, no one can say for sure who will impress the examiners.
To all those who will make it, be the priest of justice that you should be. To those who honestly believe they have what it takes to be lawyers too, hang on, go back to your materials – now! To the rest, maybe God has other plans for you.
Regards.
finally the release of the result will be om March 12, 2010 ( friday)… tax and poli daw grabe ang massacre…. source from dean sababan , owner of CRC Bar reviewer….at least 30% ang target passers… gud luck to us…
miss davao.. from UM ka ba or ADDU?
is that a first hand info miss davao?
malapit na pala talaga…malapit na…malapit na tayong maging abogado lahat… =)
Results for d 2009 bar exam will be released next week, I really swear.
Those committed errors on the first Sunday and succeeding Sundays will nt be considered, kahit iyakan pa natin yun. Lets just hope na maawa sa atin mga examiners. Kahit pray naman tayo ng pray if we’re not destined to be lawyer, wala rin. Just hope for the best na lang. Taxation and legal ethics are d killer subjects in today’s bar exams. Kc naman, kulang sa time. I really hope and pray na makasali ako sa list of passers but I expect the worst. The most important thing is ACCEPTANCE, whether pumasa man o hindi, ayos lang yan. To GOD be the glory
derick, you might not heard d announcement of chairman that those who committed mistakes are to be considered unless you have talked to d chairman. There are about 1000 plus that committed mistakes and if i were you i would not have said that or worst concluded as you did, sorry but you are being insensitive and heartless to others with what u said. To those who committed mistakes, i know that the examiners including the chairman are all human with heart that can sense the given situations like having the two examiners rule implemented for the first time added by the hit of typhoon ondoy. these are facts that i would say will make the examiners more considerate and humane. God bless us all!
good morning guys… if miss davao is right that results will be this coming march 12 then 4 days na lang pala at maging lawyer na tayo… lets enjoy to the fullest kasi last week na ito na hindi tayo busy… next week busy na tayo for our oath taking preparation… after that busy na tayo mag.apply kung saan gusto natin o kaya busy na tayo sa mga victory parties…. tapos election na busy na tayo sa mga commitment natin… haay nako ang busy talaga maging lawyer…
May deliberation naba? They usually go to Baguio for it. Any news? Torture!!!
Kung lalabas naang result sa Friday then…..
My Congratulations in advance to all future compañeros and compañeras!
