Time flies so fast. It seems there was never enough time to study and prepare for 4 grueling Sundays. Same thing even if there was an extension of one week, due to Ondoy. There was certainly no enough time to finish answering all the questions, especially with the unbearable number of questions in the 2009 bar, some say. I can’t judge because I haven’t seen the questions. Perhaps in the days to come, when these questions are dissected at phBar.
Time flies so fast, until last Sunday, 4 October 2009, the last day of the bar exams. After two full days of rest, our battle-weary examinees will begin to realize that, henceforth, time will slow down to an agonizing crawl.
Every day will be a test of patience. Every rumor will be magnified. The suspense will boil to point where you cease to care if you pass or fail — let’s just get this over with (ok, I may be wrong, of course you’d care if you pass or fail).
So, as the waiting game begins, let me to congratulate everyone for surviving the four Sundays of mind-numbing exams. Good luck and God bless, as you wait for the release of the results. You’ll be in our prayers.
Update: It’s Friday, 26 March 2010.

I agree with Angel_mg that 2009 bar exams will have a higher passing rate as per Justice Nachura pronouncement prior to the deadline of filing of application to take the 2009 bar and on several occasions while he was still a reviewer at UP, San Beda and San Sebastian College.
Compared to 2008 to which 20.58% passed out of the 6,364 who took the bar that time, the results for this year can be 20.59% or 30+% if the kind SC Justice from the province of Samar will truly make his word.
In my view, the passing rate would be not lower than 30% IF Justice Nachura will prevail over the bar committee during the deliberations.
God is good and God is great all the time. If we did our best, God will provide the rest…

to crystal ball:
one of the bar examiners for tax is a well known professor and reviewer. He is currently working with the BIR.
Our prayers for success to all members of this blog. Regards to Atty. Fred.
Last year i felt the same way.. during the whole month of march, i couldn’t concentrate in my work… almost every hour i was looking at the comments on this site to get some news..
during the day of the release of the bar exams, i took a half-day leave from my office, went to robinson’s place to wait for the results while my husband was there at the SC, waiting for the results. My parents, on the other hand, were watching the TV.. also waiting for the results…
The results were finally out by almost 8pm already.. i had with me my laptop.. i opened all the sites possible.. sc website, abs, gma, philstar, etc. but i couldn’t access… then, my husband called me that the monitors in front of SC were starting to show the list of bar passers. then suddenly she said “panyera ka na..” i asked “sure ka, pasado na ako, icheck mo ulit, i said.. then sabi nya, “yes, i saw your name on the screen, i’m sure.”
I immediately went to the SC to check it myself because still i couldn’t believe.. until i saw my name with my two eyes…
And all I can say was “Thank you Lord.” Then, calls and texts bombarded my phone, congratulating me..

See!?I know you guys who were from around Manila knows the remarks of Justice Nachura as agreed by No. 1.He further encourage those who previously fail the bar exam (for 2 or more times) to take the 2009 bar because of this intention. These were the reason why he selected the most lenient law expert (as he know) to be his examiners.. Let just pray that those assigned examiners is in the side of Justice N. in fulfilling his words.
I know, you guys would agree with me that the questions from 2009 bar examination were really unexpected.Considering the volume of its questions and the new rules that were implimented.Sana for the first time, gawin nila 70% ang papasa or 4,256 out of 6,080. Para masaya sa oath taking diba’ mas marami mas masaya!!!This is also to give justice to all students, parents, friends and others that were trully sacrefice themselves in the four (4) years study, reviews and other preparations. Some examinees whom I associated last bar exam were already old..sana naman!!!!..to the Bar examiners who is reading this, God Bless po..God uses you as an instrument to make lawyers.Sana po DONT BE TOO TECHNICAL IN CHECKING THE PAPERS..

I absolutely concur with angel_mg with respect to Justice Nachura’s encouragement for those who failed twice already in the bar to take the 2009 bar exams because he intends to give a high passing rate and i can still vividly remember that. The intention was very clear… produce many lawyers for this year.
This is just in : RUMOR has it that a certain Justice V of CA said that the results will be out on the 15th. However, a certain Justice D said that its going to be on the 16th. So more or less early or mid next week.
The good thing about this is that the national passing percentage is currently at 19% BUT it very likely that it will be increased up to 25-30% since the passing percentage in Tax will likely be decreased.
Lets hope for the best. Good luck to all of us.
lahat ay nagkakaisa na ba sa 16? yehey.. we will be lawyers na… front page nanaman,, kapag isa sa mga ngpopost dito ang nagtop,, batiin naman ang mga nagbblog,, hehe
