Update (March 28): Sorry folks, no results today. The agony of waiting is now officially extended. Results will be released tomorrow (March 30, Saturday) after lunch. I believe we have to change the title to: “Bar Examinees tortured anew, now waiting for March 29″. Good luck and God bless, everyone. Update: LIST OF SUCCESSFUL EXAMINEES here. (Original post) By all indications, the 2007 bar examination results will be released on March 28, 2008. Of course, this is unofficial and is subject to possible changes, as the official announcement will come from the Supreme Court. Good luck and God bless, everyone.

I made it. I feel so blessed. God is good. Never was it known that anyone who sought the intercession of the Mother of Perpetual Help was left unaided. Im glad I did.

it’s great to be back at this forum. the last time i posted a comment here was in the wee hours of the morning of saturday (the day of release) when i said that i can’t sleep ‘coz i was so excited for the afternoon release of the Bar results. but i managed to get some sleep though and woke up around 7 a.m. and proceeded to Quiapo church to hear mass and get some spiritual recharging and after that headed to SC around 11 a.m. it was really a hot afternoon but we endured the heat of the sun, which was nothing compared to the nervousness and tension that examinees like me most probably experienced. t’was almost 4 p.m. in the afternoon when the SC opened the doors of the main hall for viewing of the results via the LCD projectors. the main hall was so crowded so i contented myself to check in the bulletin board outside where the names were also posted to check if my name is among those listed. and miracle of miracles !!! yes, i made it guys and the rest is history.
this is really a big, big blessing from God. i never seriously expected to pass except through God’s divine intervention. i know i did my best during the exam but of course there’s always the feeling of inadequacy. it’s really comforting to know that there is an unseen hand working in the sidelines carving our destinies. as i’ve said previously in this forum, it is the Divine Providence who is the final arbiter of all our plans and ambitions.
thank you atty. fred for hosting this forum which has been our favorite internet hang-out for the past few weeks to check out the latest rumors and release date. perhaps i can consider the days prior to the release as one of my life’s most stressful moments but definitely, it was worth the wait. kudos to all the 2007 bar passers. and i also pray for those who did not make it, that they may be able to accept their fate in all humility and not to lose hope ‘coz everything in this world happens for a purpose and there is a season for everything under the sun according to the Bible. may they always find the strength in the risen Christ who has conquered everything that we may also find the strength to face life’s adversities. your site’s tagline “The Almighty has a plan for all of us and I agree that the All Seeing Eye does not play dice with our destinies. yung grades pinapadala thru mail for those who failed… pero for those who passed yung grades binibigay minsan during the signing sa rolls or pinapadala thru mail…
sa mga pumasa, pwede nyo din kunin yung booklets nyo sa bar confidant after a year yata, at ang certificate of admission sa bar ay mga after 2 years makukuha…

@ Atty. Fred, thank you too for this site as it was my source of information on the 2007 bar exams. It’s remarkable how people of this community joined together while waiting for the results. Would you believe that the complete list was posted here, I think by ddd, almost simultaneously with the Supreme Court website?

You should consider getting sponsors for your site.
the 2007 bar examination makes history in the following aspect:
1. The passing percentage of 5% were increased up to 22.9%
2. The passing rate has been lowered from 75% to 70%
3. The cut-off rate per subject (Criminal, Civil, Remedial) has been lowered from 50% to 45%
4. The rating of the First Placer is now considered as the LOWEST 1ST PLACE GRADE OF ALL TIME – 83.55% by Mercedita Ona of Ateneo de Manila University erasing the former Lowest 1st Place Grade of All Time – 86.185% in 1989 by Gilberto Teodoro, Jr. of UP
5. The rating of the Tenth Placers is also now considered as the LOWEST 10TH PLACE GRADE OF ALL TIME – 80.9% by Vivian Tan of UP and Christian Llido of the University of Cebu (UC) erasing the former Lowest 10th Place Grade of All Time – 82.80% in 1963 by Antonio Abad, Jr. of FEU.
*Berto, will try to do that, but as I always say, tips should never be considered as substitute for earnest preparations. Too many relied on tips and so many were disappointed.
*Atty.Grace, very true indeed. When the results were released, I couldn’t update the site because I attended a wedding the entire afternoon and evening of that Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised to discover later in the night that somebody took up the slack and posted the list. It’s gratifying to note that the site helped those who were thirsty for information and everyone contributed to that effort. Mabuhay kayong lahat.
As to sponsors, anyone out there? hehehe Seriously, that’s secondary. While there are expenses associated in maintaining this site, I’ve always considered that as part of sharing the blessings that came (and hopefully, will still come) my way. God is good. If we are able to help those who are (now “were” for the 2007 examinees) in our position years back, then that’s always something worth pursuing. If they pay it forward, that’s a bonus.

I’m one of those who regularly monitor your blog since Feb but didn’t participated in the discussion. I would like to sincerely thank you for helping us out during the moment of insanity, the suffering and anxiety of waiting. The victory and defeat… Though i made it this time, i share the sorrow of those who didn’t make it, for i myself was a bar flunker. All i can share to those unfortunate guys & gals, never quit!!!! pursue that dream and if ever you will try again, make it as if there will be no tomorrow. Give all you got, talent, time and treasure but most especially have God on your side.God bless!
