The fourth Sunday of the 2009 Bar Exams (27 September 2009) had been rescheduled to 4 October 2009, I heard. This is due to the heavy rains that caused extensive flooding in Metro Manila and its surrounding localities. (I don’t know if the examinees feel that the length of this year’s bar questions is a greater personality calamity.)
Good news, my wife said, so that bar examinees will have more time to study. I said it’s not as simple as that. Examinees from the provinces will shell out more money to cover the extra week. And, more importantly, considering the difficulty the examinees had gone through, the feeling is more of “let’s get this over with” rather than prolonging the agony.
Of course, this time there is no choice but to reschedule. The weather made sure of that. The poll below assumes that there is a choice. If there’s a choice to move the last Sunday, would you take it?
Let’ s hear your thoughts. Update: The poll is now closed, with the following results — Yes (13) votes, No (22 votes).
Good luck and God bless to all the examinees.

Tinkering with internet tools comes with the bonus of better understanding how existing laws apply to the third wave - that of technology, particularly the internet. This is also a great medium to disseminate and discuss ideas across borders, time, color or creed.
