SC Upholds Marcos Burial at Libingan ng mga Bayani

The Philippine Supreme Court, dismissing the petitions by a 9-5 vote, effectively removed any legal obstacle to the government’s plan to allow the burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.   1. Let’s not blame the Supreme Court. It merely decided based on what the law says. It’s legal. Congress should have passed a law disallowing it (even that law, if passed, would be questioned based on equal protection). Let’s move on.
