I was pleasantly surprised to see an increase of comments in the previous post on waiting for the 2006 bar results to be released. I guess this is because of the persistent “rumor” that the bar results will be released tomorrow, 22 March 2007. This, of course, adds to the agony of waiting.
But, guys, relax (if that’s possible). Take this week to get some rest. Go to a retreat. Continue working. Get a vacation. My crystal ball says that the results won’t be released this week. My crystal ball also favors odd (as opposed to “even”) dates next week. Maybe my crystal ball will be kind enough to give updates. =)
Good luck and God bless to everyone.
(For convenience, let’s centralize the updates here; check the Top Ten and complete list of passers here).

oh gosh….the result is very very soon…i hope it wont be tomorrow coz am not ready yet….i also took the bar last september and everyday i feel nervous about it most esp now that the result is very near,,,
one time i dreamed about passing the bar…i am afraid of what people say that the opposite of what happened in your dream is what would really happen…my gosh… i cant take it anymore…i cannot afford another review and another exam….twas a torture on my part….
Des, that’s part of the ritual…I mean, the torture part =) You’d smile someday when you look back. Forget the dreams =) Just pray for strength to accept whatever the outcome is. Good luck for next week’s big bang =)
the thought of graduation excites me for at last i’m done with law school. i know this is just the beginning. the bar exam is the final judgment.
i am as nervous as those who took the bar last september. i am waiting for the result too and hoping that friends and relatives would make it.
i am afraid to take the bar this year…is it adviceable to take it directly after graduation or extend a year muna? which review center would you advice for law studes from prvinces?
i hope you could help me. thanks and God Bless!
whew! its me again atty fred…any day next week would be the big day right? ohh my! the whole barangay is waiting for their first lawyer and i am afraid for that very high expectation. a very remote barrio of ours somewhere along the northern part of luzon is still waiting for a lawyer in the barangay and so i hope and i fervently pray to the Father above to give me thy courage and strength to face whatever would that be…atty fred…please update us all to end our agony of waiting.thanks and more power to you.
I also took the bar exam last sept ’06..the waiting period is really a torture and agony. good luck to all of us. God bless..
Rhea, congrats in finishing law school. I agree with you that passing the bar exams is the master key, so to speak, in entering a new “world”. However, I guarantee you that your “final judgment” will come a few years after passing the bar exams. By that time, you have to decide what to do with a very powerful tool, your expertise in the legal profession. You will go through a crisis in principles. You will ask yourself which direction to take.
Anyway, take the exams right away. Your memory is still fresh. Your interest is still the same. Stick to a schedule. As to the review classes, I suggest you take U.P. or Ateneo. Remember that you’ll cover more topics when reading the review materials, rather than sitting there at the lecture hall. Some lecturers merely repeat what they say in their books or review materials. Select the subjects with good lecturers; ask your friends who among the crop of reviewers are good…then read their review materials before the lecture.
Des, during my time, I didn’t go home to our barangay, precisely because of the things that you said. What if I fail? It’s gonna be embarrassing (luckily, I didn;t get to that point). What makes the bar exams so damn nerve-wracking is not only the difficulty and the suspense in waiting, but, more importantly, the pressure and expectations placed on the examinee’s shoulders. I assure you that not only your barangay is waiting…but the entire town as well =) Will keep you guys updated.
Faith, good luck.
I am also waiting for the result of the 2006 bar exam. I just always think positive but preparing for the worst. Good luck to everyone….
i am also waiting for the results…. gosh, the pressure at work becomes much much unbearable especially if you are anticipating the uncertain… kulang nalang ubusin ko time ko sa work to forget the bar results but the end is near… we will face the final judgement and the final countdown. Good luck to all
i passed the 2005 bar examination. i graduated from saint ferdinand college, an unknown school. i experienced all the hardship and pains of the bar exam. to all of you who are awaiting the result of this god damn examination, do not let your brains and hearts be eaten by your fear AND horrible nightmares. JUST BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. BELIEVE IN YOUR GOD. YOU WILL SLAY THE BAR EXAM DRAGON.
IT IS NOT GOODLUCK. YOU WORKED DAMN HARD FOR IT, GOD BLESS.
good luck to all those who took the bar last year. may God give you the strength to accept whatever may be the result. the important thing is you did your best.

Hi to all..
I didn’t take the bar exam but my sister does… I’m eager to find out if she pass or not (i hope and pray she pass the exam)…
To all the attorney-to-be who took the 2006 bar exam… GOD SPEED…
There’s a persistent rumor that the bar exam will be out tonight. Is it true that “J” day will be tonight? I’m keeping my fingers crossed because if I don’t make it, i don’t want to hurdle the review again.
Atty, please confirm if it’s really gonna be tonight.
TNX!TNX!
Betty, sorry I just read your message. If you check the main updates (click here), it’s not gonna be this week.
