Somebody left a comment in this site that the Supreme Court already reserved the PICC for March, in anticipation of the oathtaking ceremonies for those who passed the 2007 Philippine bar exams. On the other hand, somebody said that the reservation was moved to April, which means that the release of the exam results would naturally be delayed (not February 2008, as previously expected). In the next days, there will be more “rumors” as to when the 2007 bar results will be released. To the examinees and their families, hang on. it’s killing me softly. di na ko makatulog. pero kailangan yata matulog para mapalipas ang 2 pang gabi. i don’t know what’s ahead of me. if i will not pass this bar, i just can’t understand why He allowed me to take this for the nth time.

kung lalabas 2nyt, cguro nmn sc wud have the decency to announce it. maybe there wil be an announcement tomorrow announcing that the release wud b on friday… hay nilalagnat n yata ako. ang tagal ko ng naghintay pra bang hindi ko n kaya ang isang araw pa… haay, nakakasakit ng ulo. lord, just grant me the serenity to accept things whatever they may be…

I am not questionning the wisdom of our Supreme Court justices as far as that “passing percentage” is concerned. I mean, come to think of it, we are all bound to that five (5) failure(s) rule, so that means kung babagsak ka 5x, wala ka nang chance na mag-take ng bar exam uli. In short, tapos na rin ang mga pangarap mong maging abogado!

So in this regard, I don’t think that the Supreme Court is pleased to entertain the idea of having a very low passing percentage sa kada bar exam (not unless na talagang mga “bobo” ang majority na kumuha ng bar exam, but I don’t think so.) What I personally believe is that, the passing percentage will always be REASONABLE; 20-30% is a bit reasonable di po ba? With this kind of passing percentage, ang isang bar examinee na hindi makapasa ay hindi mag-se-self pity for after all it is clear naman na ang Supreme Court give him the chance to pass.
BUT, IF, notwithstanding the five failure rule, eh mali-iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttt pa rin ang passing percentage! Op kurs magdadalamhati ang mga bar hopefuls na naging “HOPELESS” after the result is released. Marami ang magtatanong, “Ano ba to? Bat ganito? May five failure rules na eh maliit pa rin ang passing percentage? How inconsedirate naman nila…!”
Kaya personally, I do not buy the idea of that 10% or something na passing percentage. Alam kong (o alam nating lahat) na di manhid ang mga justices at ang mga examiners, they have been an examinee once in their lifetime and they knew the feelings and all.
Anyway, nandito na ‘to, so pray na lang tayo. Eka nga, wala na tayong magagawa jan. Totoo, masakit kung ang isang examinee ay di papasa. Isipin mo na lang ang lahat na ginawa mo! Re: ang time, money and effort. Pero, if di talaga tayo makapasa, in order not to add insult to injury, eh di wag na lang nating e-announce sa boung mundo na di tayo nakapasa for after all who cares?
Well,… talagang malapit na! (nanginginig nang tuhod ko at saka napakarami nang butterflies sa tyan ko! May mga dragon flies pa nga eh! he,he) Basta, we just hope for the best… God bless us all!

last year Inquirer was the first one to report that the Bar exams was scheduled to release the following day.
I check po natin ang mga news sites hindi lang ang SC websites.

We will never know the exact date of release of the bar exam unless the Supreme Court will announce it. Nor can we expect to know the bar passing percentage or the schools with top tens etc until the day it will be finally released. All of the talks regarding the passing rate etc are mere speculations and conjectures. Rumors are rumors and we jave the discretion to believe it or not. Rumors spice up things. It makes waiting for the results exciting, frigthening etc. We have to learn to live with it because once we become lawyers, we will be hearing more of it from time to time.hehehe! Until judgment day will come, lets all hope and pray that we will be one of those luckiest people who made it on the final list. Regardless of the passing rate, I hope we will make it. I share the sentiments of almost everyone here. This past few days have really been so nerve-wracking (nilalagnat na nga ko coz of lack of sleep =( hay! ).
all this waiting made me realize one thing, though – it is only when I bring my worries before the throne of grace that I will be at peace because I know my GOD IS IN FULL CONTROL…
come to think of it, wala naman mbuting maidudulot sa ‘tin ang pag-iisip ng mga percentages. we know we have done our best… all that we can do is hold on to our faith in God’s goodness and mercy.

….haha,para namang sure na papasa kayo.failing the bar is the general rule and passing is the exceptions.so why get angry…anyway,really bites.one should condition its mind to this harsh realities especially malapit na.lets not talk here about passing but lets talk about failing coz that really hurts so dapat ngayon palang condition your self na what if you fail…wag kayong matakot.face your fears.acceptance is the key….problema lang yung iba takot eh.and its true wala namang papasa kung walang bagsak.come to think of this,almost 6000 examinees and yet mga 1500 lang ang papasa at hindi naman siguro sa forum na ito manggaling yung lahat na pumasa,ewan ko if aabot ng sampu ang papasa in this forum kasi e destribute pa natin yung ibang numero sa hindi “taga forum”.so,guys face it.BAGSAK IS THE GENERAL RULE AND PASAR IS THE EXEMPTION.me,i already accepted the fact thats why natatawa nalang ako at ang sarap kulitin yung mga taong parang nakalutang lang sa hangin.na misconstrue pa gyod ang pinost ko.bright jud(baliha}haha….anyway,hindi na ako pewdeng pumasa…bagsak na ako hahaha.john and karma i hope you will salute them…goodluck.

hi, uriel. i was kinda surprised by your comment. i don’t think this comment is timely especially when almost all your fellow barristers are having sleepless nights and experiencing tensions impending release of the bar results. I was so intrigued by this comment, that I have scanned and read all your comments on this site. Alam mo, it pays to be nice to everyone, whether fellow barristers or not.
Kung last year ka nag comment niyan at nabasa ko yan habang tension na tension ako sa kakahintay ng results, im sure i will react violently.
