Somebody left a comment in this site that the Supreme Court already reserved the PICC for March, in anticipation of the oathtaking ceremonies for those who passed the 2007 Philippine bar exams. On the other hand, somebody said that the reservation was moved to April, which means that the release of the exam results would naturally be delayed (not February 2008, as previously expected). In the next days, there will be more “rumors” as to when the 2007 bar results will be released. To the examinees and their families, hang on. We will post updates here (also at the Bar Exams Forum and the Philippine e-Legal Forum). Update: LIST OF SUCCESSFUL EXAMINEES here.
Still Waiting – we share the same sentiments. God Bless and hope everything pans out for us.
i think that during the holy week, we should pray and pray and pray and pray
its all up to Him now.
oh yeah, i heard from a friend (reliable source) that the results will be released by the SC to the public on 6pm, March 28, 2008.
Acceptance is the key to peace of mind. Early on, let’s lower the expectation. Let’s be conservative on the results so it won’t break our hearts so violently if we don’t make it. But it will surely shoot us to the highest heavens if we pass.
Holyweek is the best time to contemplate the different scenarios that might happen.
I guess the results would be release next week (as what people are claiming) kasi by March 25, 2008, the Supreme Court will not be that busy na since the Neri case will be release on that date. That would give the SC ample time to deliberate or make some adjustments on the passing rate (if the reports of the low passing rate is true) and the March 27 or 28 date might be the most logical choice. But then again, I maybe wrong. (To be precise about it, just check the SC website for updates to be accurate) Whatever the date of results, I hope everyone will make it. Kahit 10% ang passing rate as long as included name natin OK na ako dun. hehehe! Have a good day.
the bar exams, an experience not worth repeating for..
Once in a lifetime experience hopefuly, God willing..
Nervous:
Name pa lang nakakakaba na no, hope we will see each other at PICC and let us know each other soon if both of us will reach the highest heaven by then.
hi john b,my luvs.. come march 28, im gona spend the waiting period at home with my family in calbayog,samar..
Kapitbahay namin very optimistic to pass the bar. He already rented a place under the LRT U.N. for his notarial services.
But he rented that place two years ago and he is waiting for the result of his second take.
March 28 – results
April 28 – oath taking
22% passing rate
And the Lord said,
“Cast your burdens upon Me
Those who are heavily laden,
Come to Me, all of you who are tired
Of carrying heavy loads,
For the yoke I will give you is easy
And My burden is light,
Come to Me and I will give you rest.”
–Whenever I am afraid, down and no one to talked to bout my troubles, I just whisper and sing this song to myself and suddenly I feel alright again. God is Great. He will help us to achieve our dream.
–Let us not be afraid to face all sorts of challenges, God will not give us problems that we cannot shoulder. He loves us so much..John 3:16
Imagine Manny saying sa ring I bequeath my winning to Jinke for her to preserve and deliver to Ara by way of Fideicomissary substitution. And I give $1.3 Million dollars to my trainer Freddie Roots as a remuneratory legacy…
I have a classmate who plans to enroll in nursing if he fails the bar. Ironically I have a successful nurse-friend in US who wants to enroll in law school.
It’s a simple case of passion vs. money. Is the legal profession losing the capacity to earn for the lawyer a decent pay? If so, what are we waiting the results for the bar for? If so, let’s start enrolling in nursing and specialize in nursing law.
Hi jca! Who’s your source for that info? Is it reliable? God! ang baba talaga ng passing rate compared last year. Good luck to all of us:-) Let’s continue praying. God bless to all of you guys!
Don’t be nervous, don’t be afraid. The devil can smell your fear. He can even feel your tense nerves. He will do things to make you more upset and so you commit more sins. Temptation… it is all around… don’t fall for it…
In the first place, I still have to know a lawyer who was able to carry his title in heaven. So what if things don’t go in our favor. Does St. Peter recognize the roll of attorneys in his roll of life? Is membership in roll of attorneys a disqualification in his roll of life? Is there IBP in heaven? If so, can the membership be for life? So, what is life?
Just simple reflections while waiting for the bar. Ay… dyusko day… kadugay… dugay-dugay gid ya a…. malaba na bungot ko o…
If every bar examinee prays to his own God but not everyone makes it, is there a God that makes you pass the bar? Is it the misfortune of a flunker that he prayed to the wrong God? If not all who pray to the right God pass the exam, then what makes the right God decide who shall pass and who shall not?
If the answer is that God has plans for us, then why should we exert effort and not just let God do things for us?
If the examiner gives you a bad score just because your handwriting is like that of a chicken, did God make your handwriting ugly? Or you are to blame because you did not practice it? If the examiner gives you a bad score just because he is being nagged by his wife while checking it, did God send his wife to give you failing grade and to punish you? Is God a big big hand in this entire Bar Exam exercise?
